Our founder and managing member of Vallellanes CPA & Associates, LLC, is a Certified Public Accountant and a financial executive with more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, finance, controllership, and business advisory services across Puerto Rico and international organizations.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Vallellanes has held senior leadership positions, including Finance and Accounting Director, Corporate Controller, and Accounting Manager for complex multi-entity organizations operating in diverse industries such as retail, construction, real estate, media, professional services, distribution, digital platforms, events, and commercial operations. She has successfully led financial operations for multiple entities and organizations across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
Her expertise encompasses financial reporting, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, ERP implementation, and business process optimizations. She has extensive experience leading finance transformations, restructuring accounting departments, implementing enterprise systems, and developing financial strategies that improve operational efficiency and support sustainable business growth.
Mrs. Vallellanes has led major ERP implementations and financial system enhancements involving platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, Prophix, BI360 and others. She is also highly experienced in designing internal control frameworks, strengthening corporate governance, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and Puerto Rico regulatory requirements.
